Tai Chi for Christians is a ministry of St. Joseph of Arimathea Orthodox Church and House of Prayer. We're a small Western Rite ministry of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), engaged in prayer and intercession.
Tai Chi is a healing art as well as a martial art. Through its essential component, Chi Kung,, it is an element of Traditional Chinese Medicine. We approach it on both levels, in private one-to-one classes.
In response to the bullying epidermic among young people, we have joined Martial Artists Against Bullying. We offer their excellent four-part program at no cost, as a Retreat Day for groups ages 8-14 and their parents.
